The Snow Campaign is a chapter of The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We are a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization composed of women who can prove lineal descent from our American Revolutionary War patriots. The Snow Campaign Chapter was organized on September 23, 1972. Our membership is composed of a diverse and dynamic group of Daughters who actively serve in this community to promote our objectives of Historic Preservation, Patriotic Endeavor and Promotion of Education. These hold a very special place in the hearts of the Snow Campaign Members. We strive to serve both our veterans in local veteran organizations and our active duty men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces who are stationed around the world by collecting coupons, donating to local veteran’s groups and participating in veteran programs through the SCDAR. We volunteer in our schools and award Good Citizens awards each year to our local high schools, as well as helping classroom with Constitution Week. We are endeavoring to upgrade and mark the Fort Lindley Revolutionary War fort located in Laurens County. We, the Daughters of the Snow Campaign, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, are ever mindful, as we continue to strive toward the future, that it is our solemn duty and responsibility to emulate the spirit of the men and women who achieved American independence.
